Engine
The 2024 Civic has two engine choices. The LX and Sport models have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 158 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 138 pound-feet of torque at 4,200 rpm. The EX and Touring models become a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, generating 180 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 177 pound-feet of torque from 1,700-4,500 rpm. Most models come with a continuously variable transmission, but the Sport and Touring models offer a manual transmission.
Performance
The Civic promises an excellent driving experience thanks to its front and back suspension setup. This compact car is excellent on gas, handles well, and steers nicely. It stops quickly when needed, and offers a comfortable ride on different roads. Sport and Touring models have paddle shifters to make driving more fun. The normal CVT works smoothly, and the optional six-speed manual transmission offers a sporty feel.

The Civic fits five people comfortably inside. The entertainment system has a 7-inch touchscreen, which upgrades to 9 inches in the pricier models. You can connect your iPhone or Android phone easily. The top models have a premium Bose sound system and leather seats. The inside is designed to be practical and comfortable, making it excellent for the driver and passengers.
