Design
The 2024 Prologue’s base model has luxurious standard features that comparable models would charge extra for. The driver and front passenger seats are both heated, and the 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat has lumbar support. The dual-zone climate control system also provides air filtration.
A big 11-inch digital Instrument cluster provides driver information, including a charging status screen and indicator, and a compass. Also standard is a Universal Remote System for garage doors.
Performance
The 2024 Prologue’s lowest trim level is front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available. The FWD model is powered by a single motor delivering 212 hp and 235 lb-ft of torque. It has a 296-mile driving range. The AWD version has two motors with 288 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque. Its range is 281 miles.
Automatic brake hold is standard and will keep your vehicle in place during constant stop-and-go traffic even if you take your foot off the brake, which helps to relieve driver fatigue. Remote engine start is also standard and allows you to start your motor and pre-heat or pre-cool your vehicle before entering.
Technology
The standard sound system on the 2024 Prologue’s base model has six speakers with AM/FM/HD and satellite radio. A free trial subscription to SiriusXM is included. The infotainment system is anchored by a bright 11.3-inch color touchscreen display and features wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Bluetooth hands-free calling and streaming audio, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, Built-In Google, and an OnStar data package.
A wireless charger is also standard on this trim. Two USB charging ports are in the front row and two are in the back row.
