4Inventory & Vehicle Information

4.1 Accuracy of Information

Columbia Honda makes every effort to ensure that vehicle inventory, pricing, features, specifications, and descriptions displayed on our website are accurate and up-to-date. However, we do not warrant that all information is error-free. Vehicle availability and pricing are subject to change without notice. We recommend contacting us directly to confirm vehicle availability and current pricing before making a purchase decision.

4.2 Vehicle Inspections & Condition

All pre-owned vehicles undergo multi-point inspections and are certified in accordance with our standards. Vehicle condition, mileage, history, and service records are provided in good faith. We encourage customers to have pre-purchase inspections performed by an independent mechanic if desired. Vehicles are sold on an "as-is" basis unless otherwise stated in a written purchase agreement.

4.3 Vehicle Descriptions

All photos, videos, and descriptions on our website are representative and may include stock photography for illustration purposes. Actual vehicle condition may vary. We reserve the right to update vehicle listings without notice.

5Financing & Credit Terms

5.1 Credit Applications

When you submit a financing application, you authorize Columbia Honda to obtain your credit report and verify employment and income information. We will use this information to determine your creditworthiness and financing eligibility. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or specific terms.

5.2 Financing Offers & Terms

Any financing offer provided is preliminary and subject to verification of information and credit approval. Final financing terms, interest rates, and monthly payments will be disclosed in a written purchase agreement and loan documents. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR), loan term, and payment schedule are subject to credit approval and may vary based on creditworthiness, down payment, and trade-in value.

5.3 Equal Credit Opportunity

Columbia Honda is an equal opportunity lender and complies fully with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (subject to applicable law), or reliance on public assistance programs.

5.4 Compliance with Financing Regulations

All financing is conducted in compliance with the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and all applicable state and federal consumer protection laws. You will receive all required disclosures and have the right to review all documents before signing.

6Trade-In Services

6.1 Vehicle Appraisals

Trade-in valuations are provided in good faith based on the vehicle's condition, mileage, service history, market conditions, and standard dealer pricing guides. Appraisals are subject to verification of title, ownership, and absence of liens. Final trade-in value will be specified in a written offer and purchase agreement.

6.2 Trade-In Conditions

Trade-in vehicles must be free of liens or have lienholder approval for payoff. You must provide proof of ownership and valid title. Columbia Honda reserves the right to reject any vehicle that does not meet our acceptance criteria or that contains mechanical issues, hidden damage, or other defects discovered after the initial appraisal.

6.3 No Guarantee of Acceptance

While we accept most vehicles for trade-in, Columbia Honda reserves the right to refuse any trade-in vehicle. Appraisals are valid for a limited time period (typically 7 days) and are subject to repricing if market conditions change or if additional damage is discovered.

7Service Department

7.1 Appointment Scheduling

Service appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or in person. Appointments are subject to technician availability. We make every effort to accommodate your preferred service time, but exact timing is not guaranteed. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to complete check-in procedures.

7.2 Service Cancellations & No-Shows

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Repeated no-shows may result in rescheduling fees or service limitations. Columbia Honda is not responsible for inconvenience caused by customer cancellations.

7.3 Service Pricing

Service pricing is based on current labor rates and parts costs. Labor rates vary by service type and complexity. An estimate will be provided before service is performed. Additional charges may apply if additional work is discovered during service. You will be contacted for approval before any additional work is performed.

7.4 Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage is determined by the vehicle manufacturer and your warranty terms. Columbia Honda service technicians will verify warranty eligibility before performing warranty work. Warranty claims are subject to manufacturer eligibility requirements and may require proof of regular maintenance.

7.5 Parts & Labor Liability

Columbia Honda warrants labor performed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, and parts for 12 months or 12,000 miles against defects in workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from accident, misuse, or failure to follow maintenance schedules. 8Parts Department

Columbia Honda offers genuine Honda parts, as well as quality aftermarket alternatives. Part availability, pricing, and delivery times are subject to inventory and supplier status. Orders are processed during business hours. You will be notified when parts are in stock and ready for pickup or delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by supplier issues or manufacturer availability.

9SMS & Contact Communications

9.1 SMS Consent & Opt-In

By providing your phone number to Columbia Honda, you consent to receive SMS text messages for service reminders, appointment confirmations, promotional offers, and other dealership communications. This consent may be revoked at any time by texting STOP. Message frequency and standard data rates may apply.

9.2 Transactional vs. Promotional Messages

Transactional messages (such as appointment confirmations or service reminders) are sent automatically and are not subject to opt-out unless you revoke all SMS consent. Promotional messages may be opted out of individually or through your account settings.

9.3 Contact Methods

By providing contact information (phone, email, or physical address), you authorize Columbia Honda to contact you regarding vehicle purchases, service, warranty, recalls, financing, parts, and promotional offers. You may opt-out of promotional contact by unsubscribing from emails, texting STOP, or contacting us directly.

10Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Columbia Honda shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Business interruption or delay
  • Any errors or omissions in website content
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of personal information

The total liability of Columbia Honda arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Columbia Honda in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so this provision may not apply to you.

12Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute regarding Columbia Honda's services or products, please contact us within 30 days of the incident. We will work to resolve the issue informally. If we cannot reach a resolution, you may pursue formal remedies as outlined below.

12.2 Arbitration

Except for disputes involving intellectual property rights or small claims, you and Columbia Honda agree that any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by a neutral arbitrator or arbitration panel. Arbitration shall take place in Boone County, Missouri. Each party shall bear its own costs, and costs of the arbitrator shall be shared equally. Arbitration decisions are final and binding and may be enforced in court.

12.3 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Boone County, Missouri.

13Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and any written purchase agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Columbia Honda regarding your use of our website and services. All prior agreements and understandings are superseded. If there is a conflict between these terms and a written purchase agreement, the purchase agreement shall control.

15Assignment

These Terms & Conditions are personal to you and may not be assigned or transferred without our written consent. Any attempt to do so is void. We may freely assign these terms to any successor or affiliate.

16Modifications to These Terms

Columbia Honda reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Modified terms will be effective immediately upon posting to the website with an updated effective date.
