Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback: Style and Versatility

If you live in the city or want a little extra cargo room, the versatility of the 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback is a great choice. The hatchback style offers more space for bulky cargo like sports equipment or large luggage. See which trim level meets your performance needs today.

The highlight of the Civic Hatchback is its dedicated cargo volume of 24.5 cubic feet. The hatchback style has five-passenger seating with a maximum passenger volume of 99 cubic feet, so adult riders have plenty of space in all seating positions. All models have a 60/40 split-folding rear seat for cargo flexibility.

Sport

The entry-level Sport is the only model powered by a gas engine. The I4 motor offers 150 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque for smooth and steady acceleration in urban settings. The gas engine is paired with a front-wheel drivetrain and a continuously variable transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Engine idle stop technology ensures there is no idle fuel consumption in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

The Sport model is equipped with automatic on-off LED headlights, LED brake lights, and LED taillights. The Smart Entry system has a Walk Away Auto Lock feature, which automatically locks the vehicle doors when sensors can no longer detect the key fob within range. Heated sideview mirrors are also standard, which prevents snow and frost accumulation in winter driving conditions.

Sport Hybrid

The Sport Hybrid model has a two-motor hybrid engine consisting of an I4 gas motor that produces 141 horsepower and 134 lb-ft of torque, along with an AC electric motor that provides 181 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. The total system output is 200 horsepower. The hybrid motor has a three-mode drive system with Normal, Sport, and Econ performance options.

This model comes with a dual-zone automatic climate control system to provide a comfortable climate for all riders. Key cabin details include sport pedals, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and illuminated steering wheel-mounted controls to operate the audio system and cruise control system. The rear window defroster has a built-in timer.

Sport Touring Hybrid

The Sport Touring Hybrid comes with elevated standard features, such as a one-touch power moonroof and wireless smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The audio system is also upgraded with 12 speakers and a built-in subwoofer. Google Built-in technology is also standard for this model.
